Security has entered the solar age in style! No more fumbling in the dark. This `clever’ solar powered Passive Infra Red (PIR) Light has two handy settings summer and winter to make the best use of the solar power available at different times of the year. A simple switch changes the functionality. In the summer when solar energy is most prolific the summer setting allows you to illuminate 1 LED automatically at night to provide an ambient glow. A further 8 LEDs are activated by the PIR sensor when movement is detected. The winter setting means that the light acts more as a security light - no light is emitted until the PIR sensor is activated illuminating all 9 LEDs(comes on up to 50 times when fully charged). An energy saving `must’ during the darker months!
