Lupin Band of Nobles Mixed Seeds
With an exciting and colourful range of robust, densely packed flower spikes this traditional lupin will enhance any garden scene. An easy and very rewarding hardy perennial to grow in borders, the plant will grow to a height of 90-120cm (36-48in). Sow Feb to June or September to October. Soak seed overnight before sowing and germinate at 20-30C on the surface of a good free-draining, damp seed compost. Apply a layer of compost or vermiculite, 3mm deep. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 18-21 days.Transplant when large enough to handle into 7.5cm pots and place in cooler conditions. After all risk of frost, plant out 30cm apart.

A beautiful border plant with fully double, nodding blooms in a wide range of colours, from pastel pink shades through to deep ocean blue, some petals tipped in lime green. This hardy perennial also make superb and unusual cut flowers. Flowers early summer. Sow from late winter to early summer 6mm (?”) deep in a good seed compost.
