A hardy annual which produces semi-double and single blooms of cerise, carmine, red, orange and yellow. Perfect for bedding, borders, containers and for cutting, pick when tightly furled. These poppies will flower all summer long, reaching a height of 23cm (9in). Sow mid spring to early summer where the plants are to grow, setting the seed 6mm (?in) deep, preferably in an open sunny position in any ordinary well drained soil.Thin the seedlings to 15-23cm (6-9in) apart when large enough to handle. Remove the flowers regularly as they fade to prolong flowering.
